Located on Outer Drive across from Renaissance High School, Hartford Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a Bronze – Commitment to Quality AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award recipient, provides short-and long-term skilled nursing care in a historic setting, complete with a chapel built in 1945. Hartford has undergone extensive renovations, which include new nursing stations, window treatments, flooring, and family lounges. We specialize in short-term, sub-acute rehabilitation services with two units to meet you or your family member’s needs. Our 42-bed Homebound Rehabilitation Unit is designed to help patients transition from hospital to home following an acute illness. Our new Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit is a 14-bed unit for patients who are recovering from a cardiac disorder. These patients are able to physically and mentally participate in their care, and have a goal to return home after their rehabilitation has been completed. Hartford is a 140-bed community that is convenient and caring for all residents of southeast Michigan.
